The Ping Nome putter uses the same design style as the Ping Syndey putter with the alignment aid black instead of red. We really like this style as it seems to make the putter appear a little smaller than it is as your eye is drawn to the black 'body' of the crown. This makes it very easy to set the club at address and if you struggle with lining up your putts then this is a putter for you.

The Nome aluminium head feels much lighter than it looks and it combines well with the tungsten weights on the outside of the sole to give a very balanced head. The feel at impact from the face is very good so judging pace is easy.

This is a face balanced putter but Ping use a variety of hosel styles to adjust the Nome putter to your style of stroke and the sticker on the shaft will indicate whether it is for a Straight, Slight Arc or Strong Arc putting stroke. You can find out which one you have using the excellent Ping Putting App.

This is a high quality, well designed putter with a classy understated head and for those who like mallet style putters it is going to be a worthwhile, even if a little pricey, investment.
