Who? 21 year-old Japanese Ryo Hisatsune.

What? The 2023 Cazoo Open de France, his first DP World Tour victory.

Where? Le Golf National, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France

How? Hisatsune became the third Japanese winner in DP World Tour history with a final round of 66, including a back nine of 30, at Le Golf National to overtake Jordan Smith. He had started the final round four strokes behind, and the gap stretched to six after Smith started strongly, but the Englishman struggled as the day went on and Hisatsune was able to capitalise.
