Srixon's Z-Star golf balls have topped their range for over 15 years and, now in to their eighth generation, the new series has been developed to produce more spin and speed whilst also introducing their existing alignment system into Z-Star for the first time.
The Z-Star is made with an extra thin urethane cover which provides more stopping power around the greens. There's a new Spin Skin+ which increases the friction on the cover to enhance approach shots and greenside spin on each shot.
Inside the ball is the new FastLayer DG Core, which is soft at the centre and then gets firmer from the inside out. This core is designed to improve the feel whilst also generating plenty of ball speed.
The Z-Star is engineered with a thin mid-layer and a softer compression to ensure softer feel and spin on approach shots, while the Z-Star Diamond has a firmer compression to optimise iron spin and distance.
The Z-Star XV has a unique core which has a soft centre and gets dramatically harder on the outer edge, adding ball speed for more distance and more iron spin.
Finding the right golf ball for your game is just as important as finding the right irons or driver. It's the one piece of equipment you use on every single shot, which is why technological advances like the new Spin Skin+ and FastLayer DG Core give players confidence that their ball is going to react how it should and excel in every category that matters - more spin, bite and speed.

Each ball features Speed Dimple, which is 338 aerodynamic dimples to improve overall launch regardless of the wind conditions. It has 'deep dimensions' to create a low drag coefficient to help the ball stay on target and maintain distance, keeping the ball flight more penetrating into the wind.
New for the Z-Star range this year is the Divide golf ball. It has a 50/50 Visual Performance technology in both yellow and white, which is designed to help golfers track spin in the air and see the ball roll better around the green.
Key innovations in the 2023 Z-Star ball:
New FastLayer DG Core: Starts soft in the centre and dramatically becomes firm around its edge, giving high-speed players exceptional feel and plenty of ball speed for maximum distance.
New Spin Skin+: A durable coating that digs deep into your wedge and iron grooves, maximising spin for better control and stopping power.
Speed Dimple: Less drag and more lift boosts overall distance and flies straight, even in the toughest wind conditions.
Priced at £47.99 per dozen, the Srixon Z-Star, Z-Star XV, Z-Star Diamond and Z-Star Divide are available from 24th February. The Z-Star and Z-Star XV are available in White or Yellow, with the Z-Star Diamond in just White.
