Whilst Mizuno is undoubtedly better known for their high-quality forged irons, it is also a relatively big name within the accessory department, and the new BR-D Series of golf bags seek to deliver both versatility and performance to golfers.
The new range of bags, spanning from lightweight Sunday style to waterproof cart bags, offer 'practical and stylish solutions' depending on their individual requirements.
Mizuno BR-D Series
Mizuno BR-D2 Stand Bag
A compact and useful Sunday-style bag which Mizuno say is ideal for practice, a weekend break or a quick nine holes. The BR-D2 is lightweight and subtle, and features a 2-way full length divider and a 7-inch top. There's a mini stand to stop your bag getting wet on the ground, with a waterproof underbelly and matching rainhood to keep your clubs dry too.
Other features include an apparel pocket, valuables pocket, ball pocket and drinks pouch for plenty of storage despite the concise size. Double shoulder straps ensure comfortable carrying, and there is a new 'climbers-style' accessories slip for extra ease of use. It is available for £110.
Mizuno BR-D3 Stand Bag
Despite being larger than the D2 model this bag still remains as a lightweight, mobile option. There's a 9.5-inch padded cuff with a 4-way, full length divider to keep clubs well protected.
The bag has 8 pockets in total, meaning that there is significant storage for anything you may wish to carry during a normal round. Like the BR-D2, there's a double shoulder strap and new climbers style metal accessory clip, as well as an insulated drinks pocket, lined valuables pouch and grab handles at the top and bottom of the bag. It is available in 4 different colour options at an RRP of £170.
Mizuno BR-D4 Stand Bag
This bag provides even more storage than the D3 and, thanks to a versatile base, it is suitable for use both as a carry bag or on a trolley, and can be purchased for £210.
There are 12 different pockets and compartments to ensure that you are never caught short out on the course along with the same insulated drinks pouch and metal clip for further storage.
Mizuno BR-DRI Stand Bag
As the name suggests, the BR-DRI is a completely waterproof option with a seamless construction, making sure that your possessions are protected in even the worst of the weather whilst on the course.
It is both mobile and lightweight, with 6 protected pockets and a year's waterproof guarantee, delivering a high-performance bag that performs regardless of the elements. It is available at an RRP of £270.
Mizuno BR-D4C Cart Bag
This Mizuno cart bag is built for maximum storage and comes equipped with 12 different pockets and compartments. There's an integrated umbrella sleeve which sits behind the main side pocket, making sure that it is away from trolley or cart attachments.
A full 14-way divider and sizeable 10-inch top provides ultimate ease of use, whilst the bag can be easily used thanks to grip handles and a cart compatible base to ensure that it sits securely on any trolley. It is priced at £230.
Mizuno BR-DRI Cart Bag
Rounding out the new collection is the BR-DRI, Mizuno's totally waterproof cart bag option. It has a seamless construction and rainhood to protect against inclement weather, along with a 1-year waterproof guarantee.
Like the BR-D4C, it also features a 14-way divider and cart-compatible base, and comes with an RRP of £290.
