The Nike Air Force 1 has a long history.
Released in 1982, it is one of Nike's most enduring and recognisable shoes, with the form of the shoe largely unchanged as it became a standard of global street-culture.
Now this classic shape is heading to the golf course for the first time in the guise of the Nike Lunar Force 1 G.
The Lunar Force 1 G incorporates Nike's Lunarlon cushioning, found in Rory McIlroy's Lunar Control 4 shoe, and has a sole with waffle-tread Integrated Traction for the stability required on the golf course.
The Lunar Force 1 G is worn on the PGA Tour by Tony Finau who clinched his first PGA Tour title at the Puerto Rico Open.
