The style, worn by Justin Rose to win the 2013 US Open, features a premium leather upper and a molded rubber outsole offering stability and grip on the course, and style and comfort off the course.
The ADC (All Day Cushioning) model will feature an updated, low-profile outsole with new traction lugs positioned specifically to improve the grip of the Cardiff in various conditions.
Whilst Rose wore the existing Cardiff shoe to win at Merion, he did get a chance to try the new ADC model.
“I’ve always loved the style and comfort that the Cardiff offers,” said Rose. “I first wore the new Cardiff ADC at The Open Championship in July and really like the updated look and feel. This new version takes comfort to another level, plus I can wear them both on and off the course.”
While the shoe is available in the US, it will not be sold in Europe until early next year. Information is limited, but we can tell you that it comes in six to eight different colourways and will be offered in a women's version (below) for the very first time.
