Cleveland Golf have added nine new putter models for 2024 in the form of an HB Soft 2 range, the second generation of putters to feature the brand's Speed Optimised Face Technology.
The HB Soft 2 putters are designed to provide golfers with truer strikes and a more consistent swing feel, with a number of different shapes designed to cater to different stroke types. The hosel, shaft and grip differs for both face-balanced and moderate toe hang models, so that the putter is built to match the stroke.

With nine models to choose from, there's an HB Soft 2 that can fit your needs on the greens and golfers will be able to see and feel the difference of having a putter designed specifically for their stroke."

The key technology in the range is the use of the Speed Optimised Face Technology (SOFT). This uses individualised milling patterns in each model to normalise ball speeds across the face, providing more consistent distance regardless of where the putt is struck. The milling patterns are designed to align with each head shape's CG, MOI and weight profile.
For every model that is 35 inches or longer, Cleveland have included a 20g counterbalance weight in the butt end of the shaft to promote a more consistent swing feel.
Depending on stroke type and alignment preferences, the HB Soft 2 putters also feature Cleveland's custom pistol grips. For a slight arc stroke, the Pistol grip has a classic profile and encourages the hands to turn over naturally through the stroke.
For those with more of a straight back, straight through stroke, the Pistol Oversize grip promotes a more stable stroke while still maintaining feel and control.
The new range also sees the introduction of a completely new head shape for Cleveland in the HB Soft 2 Retrieve. This is the first company with the ability to pick the ball out of the hole or other surface without bending over.
The Cleveland HB Soft 2 Putters are available from 24th February and are priced at £139 each.
