The Callaway X Hot Pro fairway is a longer, less upright, more penetrating version of the X Hot fairway wood, designed for better players and Callaway's Tour players.

As with the standard X Hot, the idea behind the X Hot Pro fairway was to produce a fairway wood that produces faster ball speeds from every type of lie, not just off the tee.

Callaway's R&D team used several techniques to achieve that result. The Callaway X Hot Pro fairway clubhead is built from two pieces of stainless steel. The first is a forged steel Speed Frame cupface that produces faster balls speeds across the entire clubface. The second is a steel casting that features a unique Internal Standing Wave, that lowers the centre of gravity and pushes it further forward, promoting less spin and more distance.

The modern Warbird sole is a nod to Callaway's fairway woods of old, and is built to offer versatility to the X Hot range, and deliver fro a range of different lies.

The X Hot Pro fairway is slightly longer, slightly less upright and has a centre of gravity that is further forward that the standard X Hot model, to produce a more penetrating flight suited to better players. It also sits one degree open, has less offset and marginally less camber.

The X Hot Pro fairway is available in 13.5, 15, 17 and 19 degrees and comes with a True Temper Project X Velocity shaft in stiff, regular or light.
