As we’ve come to know with Callaway, with a new year comes new products. Introducing Callaway’s new Paradym Hybrids, 'redefining' how golfers approach their long game.
With the success of the Rogue ST Pro, Callaway’s aim is to bring a wood-shaped hybrid into play with the grooves going across the face and developing the face progression patterns, in effect changing how the hybrids perform.
"The goal here was to have a hybrid that worked with the irons and as an individual hybrid that could be plugged into your bag. We’ve been really pleased with how these hybrids tested versus some stiff competition, seeing significantly more ball speeds and consistency. We’ve managed to tighten the downrange dispersion which helps you have confidence hitting into the greens.”
Scott Mann, Director of Irons and Hybrids, Callaway Golf
There are two new hybrids in the the 2023 Paradym line-up.
The Paradym model is for golfers who want a mid-sized, wood-shaped hybrid that’s long with excellent versatility and control. Whereas the Paradym X model is for golfers looking for a full-sized, wood-shaped hybrid that’s long with versatility and forgiveness.
In both Paradym hybrids, Callaway has incorporated high-density tungsten which means they have pushed the centre of gravity low and forward on the club, resulting in lower spin and more ball speed. They have also included their own A.I. designed Jailbreak with Batwing Technology which increases stiffness in the perimeter while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds across the face.
Continuing with their A.I. design, a 455 Face Cup has been developed to optimise ball speeds and improve spin across the face. Both hybrid models have this feature however but differ slightly to enhance the performance in that specific head.
Callaway has designed an all-new Cutwave Sole to cut through the turf, especially from thick rough. Alongside the ability to control and adjust the hosel sleeve capable of +2/ -1 of loft, this new shape makes Paradym the most versatile family of hybrids Callaway ever created.
The new Callaway Paradym Hybrids are priced at £299.99 and are available at Callaway and retail partners around the world from 24th February.
Stock shafts include Aldila Ascent PL Blue and Project X Hzrdus Silver whilst the stock grip is Callaway Universal Grip Black.
