How? Scottie Scheffler kept some final round chaos at arm’s length in a dominant performance on his way to recording his sixth PGA Tour victory at TPC Sawgrass.
The victory, Scheffler’s second in his last four starts, moved him back to No. 1 spot in the world and third in the FedExCup standings. He also joined Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus as the only players to simultaneously hold the Masters and Players titles.
His dominant performance left many believing that he is now the standout favourite to win back-to-back Green Jackets at Augusta.
