Mickelson tied Jack Nicklaus' record in winning four of his first six events on the PGA Tour's senior circuit after firing a closing round of 65 to finish the week at 19 under, one stroke ahead of Steven Alker. Meanwhile Bernhard Langer won the season-long Charles Schwab Cup for the sixth time thanks to a top 20 finish in Phoenix.
