Seven years after the release of the MP-A series, Mizuno are back again with their latest line of premium putters, the M-Craft, which the brand says follows of the footsteps of their famed irons in being among the best quality on the market.
Mizuno explained that the reason there was such a big gap between the two releases was because they didn't want to release clubs for the sake of it - they wanted something that they were really proud of and that was a genuine improvement on their existing offering. If you have read any of our recent Mizuno iron reviews, you'll know that they usually live up to their promises...
The new M-Craft putters are forged from a premium 1025 mild carbon steel, which is then CNC milled for more precise shaping and alignment. Deep milling on the face also helps to contribute towards softer feel and better roll too.
There are three different models available in the new collection:
Mizuno M-Craft 1 Putter
Square back with mid slant neck and max toe-hang, suited to an exaggerated putting arc.
Mizuno M-Craft 2 Putter
Classic heel-toe putter with plumber's neck and mid to-hang, matching a moderate putting arc.
Mizuno M-Craft 3 Putter
Face-balanced mid-mallet delivering stability for golfers with less putting arc.
The putters weigh in at 355 grams, but Mizuno also give you an additional weight kit where two 3 gram weights or two 13 gram weights can be interchanged with the standard 8 gram weights in the sole, allowing you to adjust your putter to suit the conditions.
The M-Craft range, priced at £249 RRP, are available in three eye-catching finishes - Classic White Satin, Black ION and Mizuno's iconic Blue ION. They also feature a Nippon Original shaft, Lamkin Deep Etched Full Blue cord grip, and a premium headcover.
