Ahead of their US and UK launch in September, Mizuno have released a teaser video and images of their newest MP cavity-back iron, the MP-54. Here is Charles Howell III and Mizuno personnel to tell you more:
Mizuno describe the new cavity back design as traditional, but aggressive, calling them "a thick, powerful Grain Flow Forged iron crafted to awaken the shotmaker in players needing just a little forgiveness." Slightly more forgiving than the MP-64 iron they brought out last year, for the player who still wants to work the ball and play around a course, but demands some forgiveness.

Information and specs on the irons are limited for now, we just know that Mizuno's R&D have worked on getting "the playing profiles and weighting balanced out." The new versions also have less cavity than previous models.
