Adidas' Tour360 has been one of the most recognisable shoe models over the last two decades - with the likes of Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele winning tournaments whilst wearing the iconic three stripes on their feet.

The shoe is now in it's 19th year and is celebrating with an all-new model for 2024, which is said to have been redesigned from the inside-out with all new technologies.

"For Tour360 24, our objective was to take key learnings from nearly 20 years of Tour360 development to enhance the performance of the shoe from the inside out. We wanted to capture that feeling of confidence that comes when someone puts their foot into the shoe for the first time and gets excited to head to the first tee. The shoe features the classic signature look, but golfers will notice a difference in the way this one feels the minute they put them on."

Masun Denison, global footwear director, Adidas Golf.

For the new Tour360 Shoe, Adidas have focused on three key areas:

Fit

The Tour360 brings key technologies inside the shoe, aimed at ensuring that the footwear fits in the right way,

A new Insite 2.0 Sockliner features updated shaping in the arch and the heel, to improved both fit and stability.

An internal 360Wrap includes an 'internal fit sleeve' on the sides of the tongue, along with a new Torsion Bridge in the midsole. These combine to give a feeling of 360 support whilst swinging the club.

The shoe is built on Adidas' performance last, to deliver a more consistent fit across the other models in the range. The men's models will be offered in both medium and wide widths, while the women's model comes with a medium width only.

Performance

The new TPU Torsion Bridge is made of a more rigid top plate and flexible bottom plate, designed to add more stability across both the mid and forefoot where golfers need it most, especially as they try to build power during the swing. It also sits lower to the ground to help improve performance in uneven lies and surfaces.

For the first time in golf, Adidas are using Jet Boost in the heel which uses energy capsules to provide stability and comfort. Combining this technology with Lightstrike in the forefoot is said to provide a balance of cushioning and stability throughout the swing.

The Thintech 7-spike outsole is designed for optimal traction and includes replaceable spikes so that you can achieve the same performance even as your shoes age. There are also flex grooves in the secondary traction with a high gloss finish to reduce clogging of mud or debris. There's also a new spike positioned closer to the toe, allowing for better push-off through the swing and improved power from the ground.

Durability

Adidas have also included features to help the shoes last longer, even in a variety of different weather conditions.

The Tour360 features a new T-shape suede microfibre heel, with a three-piece construction using a textile that runs from the centre of the heel to the half collar, helping to reduce wear and tear over time while improving overall comfort.

The shoes are made from a premium, soft waterproof laeather upper which is designed for long-term durability and protection from wet conditions.

As part of the Tour360 24 range, Adidas are also introducing a new BOA model for both men and women to deliver another option for those looking to enhance the fit and performance of their shoe.
