Adidas are known for genre-bending shoe designs and their CodeChaos line is one of the most ambitious shoe models they have made, so much so that the brand refer to it as 'the most disruptive shoe in golf'.
The new CodeChaos 22 Limited Edition is designed to be wearable for just about any golfer in the world, and now contains updated looks with a new exterior to go with the existing shaping and construction.
The shoes have tri colored three stripes rather than one singular colour, with light, medium and dark stripes which Adidas say celebrates individuality in the game.
The inside of the shoe also features a purple sockliner, which contains graphics of squirrels playing golf with trees, acorns, flags and other common golfing symbols.
As a brand, we see possibilities where others see impossible, which is why we're using the CodeChaos franchise to unite the golf community. To break the mold, we intentionally chose our loudest footwear to encourage golfers around the world to not only play as they are, but to also embrace their style of play.
Masun Denison, Global Footwear Director, Adidas Golf.
The CodeChaos 22 includes TwistGrip technology which has been extended into the heel, forefoot and sidewalls to provide extra grip during the golf swing.
Made from recycled materials, the upper has a multi-layer textile with a thin tinted PU film, promoting stain resistance and providing a waterproof warranty. Like with most Adidas golf shoes, there is extra underfoot comfort provided by the Boost cushioning technology.
The shoe is available in laced for for men and women, and BOA for juniors. The BOA models will feature this year's latest technology including a new closure system with overlapping panels underneath the zipper.
It will come in a limited-edition brown, purple and white colourway. The tan and brown tones are said to signify the traditions of the sport, while the purple tones represent a 'progressive future'.
Available from 1st August, the CodeChaos 22 Limited Edition will be priced at £140.
