Cleveland are one of the best-renowned wedge designers across the golf market, and their product range caters not only for the elite golfer, but also for higher handicap players who need a little more help with their short game consistency.
The brand says that their Smart Sole wedge, now in its fourth iteration, ‘makes the short game easier’ thanks to huge sole designs and three different models meaning that you have a wedge designed for every shot.
Cleveland’s ‘short game system features a C chipper model engineered for more consistent chip shots, an S model to help promote better results from the sand, and a new G model for extra forgiveness on longer approach shots into the green.
The key innovations inside the Smart Sole 4 Wedges are as follows:
Enhanced Three-Tiered Sole: An extra wide three-tiered sole, with more bounce on the leading edge, which delivers maximum forgiveness whether from the fairway, rough or out of the bunker.
Improved Feel Balancing Technology: The redistribution of weight on the hosel allows the CG to be repositioned closer to the middle of the clubface, which improves feel and consistency.
Aggressive Milled Grooves: New aggressive milled grooves generate better spin performance from any scenario.
New Gap Wedge: The addition of a new ‘G’ Gap wedge model makes it possible to produce full-shots, with plenty of versatility to provide a comprehensive range alongside the S and C models.
The C model (42�), G model (50�), and S model (58�) come in right and left-handed options as well as Men�s and Women�s offerings, and will be available from 15th February at an SRP of �129.
