What? The 2022 FedEx St Jude Championship, his first PGA Tour win.
Where? TPC Southwind, Memphis, Tennessee.
How? After so many near misses over the last couple of seasons, Zalatoris finally won for the first time on the PGA Tour after overcoming Sepp Straka in a dramatic playoff to rise to No.1 in the FedEx Cup standings. After holing lengthy par saves on both the 72nd hole and the second hole of the playoffs, Zalatoris was able to get up and down after taking a drop from the hazard on the third extra hole to claim the title over Straka, who had found the water on the same hole.
