What’s In The Bag: Stewart Cink

Winner of the 2021 RBC Heritage

Who? 47 year-old American Stewart Cink.

What? The 2021 RBC Heritage, his eighth PGA Tour win.

Where? Harbour Town Golf Links, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

How? Cink joined Bryson DeChambeau as only the second golfer to win twice on the PGA Tour this season with a commanding victory at Harbour Town. Opening up with back to back rounds of 63 gave the American a comfortable lead at the halfway stage, and he was able to close with rounds of 69 and 70 for a four stroke victory whilst setting 36 and 54 hole scoring records along the way.

Following the victory, Cink said:

I played really solid, and it wasn’t spectacular yesterday or today, but today I was in play all day long. I did the job that I needed to do today to come away with a little bit of a cushion on the last few holes, which is such a pleasure to experience.
