Winner of the 2023 Qatar Masters

Who? 25-year-old Finn Sami Valimaki.

What? The 2023 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, his second DP World Tour title.

Where? Doha Golf Club, Doha, Qatar.

How? Valimaki defeated former champion Jorge Campillo on the first playoff hole in Qatar to secure his second victory on the DP World Tour. Starting the final round one stroke behind Campillo, Valimaki hit the front with a birdie on 17 before Campillo birdied the last hole to take it to extra holes, but Valimaki was able to find another birdie on the first playoff hole to take victory.
