Who? 33 year-old American Robert Streb.
What? The 2020 RSM Classic, his second PGA Tour victory.
Where? Sea Island Resort, Sea Island, Georgia
How? Streb became a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, both at the same event, with a narrow playoff victory over Kevin Kisner. Kisner had shot a stunning 63 to force his way into a playoff, but on the second extra hole Streb almost holed out from the rough with a wedge, the ball finishing up just inches away from the pin and when Kisner’s birdie chip missed, the victory was sealed.
Following the victory, Streb said:
It’s really nice to say I’ve got more than one win. Winning more than once validates what ability you have. It was just kind of unexpected and super nice to get.
