What? The 2020 Betfred British Masters, his second European Tour victory
Where? Lee Westwood Colt Course, Close House, Newcastle upon Tyne
How? Paratore completed a commanding victory which included a run of 63 holes without a bogey, by carding a final-round of 69 which gave him a three-stroke victory over young star Rasmus Hojgaard in wet and windy conditions in the first event of the European Tour’s UK Swing.
Following the victory, Paratore said:
I played really solid. I didn’t expect to come back and win my second one after lockdown but I worked really hard the last year. I said to my caddie and my team – the goal is to go to the U.S. Open. The first tournament went well.
