How? Hojgaard strengthened his chances of a Ryder Cup spot with a dramatic victory in his home country. He started six shots behind the leader but shot a stunning 64 to play his way into a playoff with Nacho Elvira, finally winning on the sixth extra hole after Elvira hit his second shot out of bounds.
