Winner of the 2024 Mexico Open

Who? 29 year-old American Jake Knapp.

What? The 2024 Mexico Open, his first PGA Tour title.

Where? Vidanta Vellarta, Mexico.

How? Knapp won in just his ninth PGA Tour start, completing an incredible rise towards the top of the game having worked as a nightclub bouncer just a few years earlier. The American started the final round with a four-stroke lead but saw the deficit wiped out after just seven holes, although he rallied on the back nine to eventually win by two strokes over Sami Valimaki.
