What’s In The Bag: C.T. Pan

Winner of the 2019 RBC Heritage

Who? 27 year-old Taiwanese C.T. Pan.

What? The 2019 RBC Heritage, his first win on the PGA Tour.

Where? Harbour Town, Hilton Head, South Carolina.

How? Pan secured his first title on the PGA Tour thanks to a final-round 67, finishing one shot ahead of Matt Kuchar who had set a target of 11-under par. Overnight leader Dustin Johnson faded away with an uncharacteristically poor back nine, whilst 36-hole leader Shane Lowry and fast-finishing Patrick Cantlay left themselves with too much work to do on the closing stretch.

Following the victory, Pan said:

The last three holes I would say I played really well here, I hit a lot of good shots just because I told myself I need to focus on the details, the little things, and just stay in the present. Im just happy I executed my strategy very well there.
