How? Bhatia completed a wire-to-wire victory in Texas, despite a nervy Sunday thanks to Denny McCarthy’s back-nine charge, to secure the final spot for The Masters this week. Bhatia entered the back nine with a six shot lead but McCarthy made eight birdies in his final nine holes to force a playoff, only for Bhatia to find a birdie on the first extra hole and take victory.
