Callaway’s Augusta Bag Inspired By Arnold Palmer

Callaway pros get a new bag for Augusta, inspired by The King.

Whilst Callaway’s top players will be hoping to bag a green jacket at Augusta, one thing they can be sure of is that they will be walking the fairways alongside this staff bag designed to commemorate Arnold Palmer.

Any hardcore golf fan knows that this is not the first time Callaway have designed a staff bag to be used at one of the majors. In fact, it’s something they have been doing at each major for the past few seasons.

However, this year marks the 50th anniversary of Arnold Palmer’s last Masters victory, so the folks at Callaway decided to do something a little different.

375 of these bags have been made available to the public, splashed with Masters colours and details paying tribute to The King. Along with several crowns, each with a jewel for each of his four wins, the base of the bag features the dates of each of his Masters wins.

Another trademark symbol of Mr Palmer is of course the Bay Hill umbrella. Used in conjunction with his event that he runs every March, the multicoloured umbrella has almost become the logo of the great man. Look closely on the Masters bag, and you’ll see the umbrella zips pulls.

Not content with just designing the bag, Callaway have also created these one-off headcovers to be used by their players at Augusta.
