adidas Golf are one of the most trusted brands when it comes to golf apparel, and their latest line of winter clothing – known as COLD.RDY – is designed with innovative new materials to provide golfers with warmth and protection from the elements throughout the cooler months.

The highly technical layering pieces are developed using materials which are designed to retain warmth whilst also keeping air moving throughout the body for a comfortable, lightweight feel.
There’s also a protective layer which is ideal for adding a little extra protection from the wind, and a water-repellent finish t help keep golfers dry if the weather takes a turn for the worst.

Other key features of the COLD.RDY range include:
-
Smart layering system – Targeted insulation locks in heat in cold conditions
-
Innovative yarns – Absorb and evaporate sweat in an instant, as well as being water-repellent
-
Breathable fabric – Traps air between layers whilst allowing sweat to pass through, to minimise heat during intense activity
“How a player feels over a shot – that confidence and focus – shouldn’t change if it’s a hot summer day or there’s a sudden wind chill. Knowing golfers rely on layers this time of year to keep their seasons going, we wanted to give them the maximum amount of warmth possible without adding weight so that they could get the most out of every swing. COLD.RDY is our best technology and material innovation that accomplishes this to date.”
Shaun Madigan, global director of apparel, adidas Golf.
The collection comes with jackets and vests for both men and women, there are a couple of other standout pieces which are bound to attract a bit of attention.
Last week on the European Tour, Tyrrell Hatton claimed an impressive victory at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, but the biggest talking point was the fact that he did so wearing a hoodie for each of the four days.
I see so many of you are loving the @adidasGolf hoodie Im wearing this week????

He, or indeed adidas, aren’t the first to introduce hoodies to the golf course but Hatton is one of the first to win a big event wearing something different to the usual polo shirt and trousers. His choice of opinion certainly divided opinion in some quarters of the golfing world, although on social media in the UK attitudes appeared to be a little more positive…
Let’s hear from the HowDidiDoer’s on the Hatton hoodie debate then…
Should you be allowed to play golf wearing a hoodie?

The COLD.RDY Hoodie features a jersey-lined hood with a drawcord, along with a droptail hem to provide a modern finish.

For women, there is a COLD.RDY long-sleeve crewneck with a ‘sleek and athletic’ silhouette, along with leggings made with body-contoured seams and a bonded waist for a individual, comfortable fit which keeps you warm out on the course.
