The golf courses on the Costa Del Sol are the most popular golfing destination in continental Europe. Stretching from Gibraltar along 70 miles of sunkissed coastline to Malaga, taking in the sophistication of Marbella and Puerto Banus, the Costa Del Sol golf courses offer a wide variety to satisfy and challenge every level of player.

The southern area around Gibraltar offers up some of the most famous golfing names on the Costa Del Sol. The grandeur Valderrama host to the 1997 Ryder Cup matches, Sotogrande and San Roque rightly grab the headlines but visitors should also look out for the courses at the Almerena Hotel.

'Golf Valley', located just 5 minutes from Puerto Banus, offers a concentration of excellent courses including La Quinta, Los Arqueros, Marbella and El Paraiso, rated as one of the best layouts on the entire coast with a strong British influence.

The eastern Costa Del Sol offers the terrific Torrequebrada, former venue of the Golf World Cup and Spanish Open, as well as the three courses at La Cala, La Cala America is rated the toughest challenge. Complete your trip with a round at Mijas, over either the Los Lagos or Los Olivos layouts, which are two of the most popular courses in Spain.
