In testing the Wilson Staff Px3 golf ball performed very well for distance.
The ball flight was medium and distance performance was comparable with most top of the range golf balls. It's on the greens where it really shines as the Wilson Staff Px3 golf ball was great to putt with, giving a great soft feel with lots of feedback.
This was quite surprising given that the ball is not that responsive for chips and approach shots. It was very difficult to generate any sort of spin on the ball and therefore if you needed it to stop quickly it had to be straight up and down.
Better players will want this control, but mid-high handicappers who want distance with good feel on the green will probably find the Wilson Staff Px3 golf ball right up their street.
