The Wilson Staff Pi5 irons are aimed at the better player and the progressive design of the cavity sees a good blade style design for the lower irons.

The head of the Pi5's looks classy, although at address the top of the club looked a little square for our liking. The face of iron is also a bit shallower than the Ci6 irons.

Given this is aimed at low handicap golfers, it puts itself up against the Mizuno's and Titleist's of the world. You do get what you pay for at this end of the market and these cast irons, whilst cheaper than forged hybrid irons, do not have the same level of feel as the alternatives.

So your budget may dictate your choice here and certainly the quality of the Pi5 is good, so if money is tight, check these out.

The Wilson Staff Pi5 irons are great! I was down at my condo in Myrtle Beach, SC about three weeks ago and was golfing a lot. I am a huge fan of blade style clubs and I saw the Pi5's in the rack and said, "what the hell...why don't I try these." I hit them so well and liked them so much that I purchased them. I have been playing with these irons for about a month now and absolutely love them. The only difficulty that I found was that you really have to open the club face a little to hit the ball "as straight as an arrow", otherwise these clubs are great and definitely worth purchasing or even just trying out.
