The TaylorMade Rescue Dual builds on the successful Rescue model with an updated head design that will probably split opinion for looks.

We think the sole looked agressive, but we're not a fan of the top of the club. The extra design features for the moveable weights in the TaylorMade Rescue Dual do make for a heavier head. With the standard version you also only get two weights you can move which limits options a little.

We did find it easy to hit and the weight technology did it's job, although it was not that easy to change the trajectory to hit it higher or lower. The feel was a bit dull and that was down in part to the standard shaft.

If you like this club then we would suggest splashing out a little bit extra for the TP version of the TaylorMade Rescue Dual, which has a better shaft and more weight options.

The TaylorMade Rescue Dual is a great club that gives you a very penetrating flight for a hybrid. Solid through impact and a lot easier to hit than a 3 iron. A club I would put in my bag.

The TaylorMade Rescue Dual is a sexy looking club but the shaft is a bit poor. I think the TaylorMade Rescue Mid is a far better club.

I liked the TaylorMade Rescue Dual. I have not really caught on to the 'Rescue' hype and have stayed very faithful to my 2 iron, but this club was high performing. In testing, I preferred it to its TP brother, but I think the stiff shaft in this Rescue was more suited to my swing than the one in the Dual TP. Didnt try and mix with the weights, but they seemed to add no excess weight to the club height which remained fairly light. High ball flight and playability with shots was good. I think I hit it too high to consider it in my bad, but no doubt the TaylorMade Rescue Dual is a high quality club.
