The Ping Tour wedge is certainly good looking and does the job very well.

Everything about it is good from the design, finish, spin and loft combinations and for mid to high handicappers we think it will be a great addition to their set.

However given that this is promoted as a Tour wedge, then I am afraid we have to mark it down a little. We feel the Ping Tour wedge lacks the feel and playability that players at the top end of the game already get from their Vokeys and Clevelands.

It also felt much heavier than your average wedge. Nothing wrong with it, but not what we would consider as Tour performance.

Sorry Ping.

A Ping Tour wedge was adecent looking wedge that feels good through impact. Heavier than other wedges I've tried but it was still easy to use. Sat well behind the ball and was fairly forgiving on my mis-hits. Definitely a wedge to consider.
