This wood has a rounded head and sits very nicely behind the ball, although dark blue is not our first choice of colour. Performance wise it is good without being spectacular, but still very good value for the price bracket it is in. Like most modern woods these days, the grooves do not go right across the face, which concerns us as there is anecdotal evidence that this can lead to the odd shot that goes nowhere if water gets between the ball and the flat face. I didn't happen to us in our test on a dry day but just so you know! The custom navy and black John Letters grip is soft and tacky, combining modern performance with classic looks. Good quality head-cover too.

Very easy to use club. The John Letters Trilogy 5 Wood gets the ball in the air with no hassle at all. Sits behind the ball well and gives you plenty of confidence to go ahead and hit the shot. Grip is not great but a quality, easy to use club for the price.
