The Hi-Tec V-Lite Typhoon golf shoe is a new departure for Hi-Tec as the chunky looking soles of previous shoes has been replaced with a much more sporty design.

The anti-pronation heel still has lots of support, but the edges of the front sole are much less built up than before with sacrificing comfort.

Like all Hi-Tec shoes the comfort is excellent and the Walotex watertight, breathable upper keeps the foot comfortable and the shoe nice and light.

The V-Lite Typhoon golf shoes come with the 3-prong Champ golf spikes, which gave excellent grip. Overall this is a great shoe, but we have to mark it down a point or two for a design aberration on the inside of the heel of the White/Black/Shadow version we tried.

The sole design on the inside of the heel goes from white to a white/blue marble effect, which is just bizzare.

OK it's on the inside of the stance and it's only part of the sole design, but it's there. Shame, as it detracts from what is otherwise excellent shoe.

Have never been a Hi-Tec person and was a bit apprehensive about these Hi-Tec V-Lite Typhoon, shoes but I shouldn't have worried. These are quality shoes that are very comfortable to wear. Apart from the inside heal design these shoes look and feel great. No blisters from wearing them straight out the box onto the course! Would definitely consider Hi-Tec shoes in the future after wearing these V-Lite Typhoons
