The Cobra Pro MB irons are a good set of forged blades that are aimed at the very low single figure golfer. With all the forgiveness around in forgings today, the Pro MB irons are really only for the blade masochists, elite amateurs and tour players.

The heads were pretty small, even for a blade, which means that shots will need to be out of the sweet spot. That said the clubs performed pretty well and are a decent set of blades, but we think there are better and more forgiving blades out there.

Fabulous sticks. I like the look of them when you stand over the club and the feel when you make sweet contact is sensational. Ball control is excellent and they are more forgiving for off-centre shots than I expected. I tested these against my irons not expecting to be impressed and I bought them instantly. I would receommend these to any low handicap golfer who would like the control of blades without the concern that you might not be good enough to hit them consistently...

I recently went to get fitted for the new Titleist ZM or ZB, both are beautiful clubs. While I was there the pro made a few suggestions, the Nike forged blades, the TaylorMade RAC blades, the Cleveland blades and the Cobra Pro MB which had just arrived in. I was never a Cobra fan but I am now. I ordered these clubs after hitting with them as well as the Titleist and Nike irons. I was blown away by how accurate my ball striking was with them and how much control and shape I had over the ball. I am a massive Titleist fan so it was a big deal to go for the Cobra's, but no question they are they best blades on the market today. My handicap is currently 4 and falling and all I will say if you are thinking of getting blades or even a blended set of Irons, make sure to hit these before you buy anything else.

The Cobra Pro MB irons look awesome, but aren't the largest heads in the world. You would have to play quite a bit to hit these on a regular basis. Not the most forgiving, but then there not built for the higher handicapper. They sit behind the ball well with a thin top line, but once you look down at the head your confidence just goes as the heads are so, so small. If you do catch them right the flight is great as is the feel at impact, there just too small!
