The Cleveland HiBore Monster XLS driver is their biggest and longest driver yet.

The clubface is sixteen percent larger than in any of the previous XLS models to create a large hitting area and provide incredible distance and stability. The Monster XLS has close to the maximum legal moment of inertia allowing it to produce fantastic ball speed on every drive.

The driver has a far less traditional look than other Cleveland drivers but the muted colour scheme means it looks and feels quite comfortable as you address the ball. The clubhead has a unique design with a thin top edge and sloped crown and we like the look of it.

In our tests we were impressed by how easy it was to hit long, straight drives with the Monster and the high MOI design meant even off centre hits got airborne and stayed reasonably straight.

Given the size and design of the head there is a noticeable impact sound which will appeal to some. However, if you like making an impact with performance you will find that the Clevland HiBore Monster XLS driver will certainly keep you on the straight and narrow.

All the clubs come with Cleveland Eee Zee Grab headcovers as standard and these not only look great but are much easier to get on and off than many of the headcovers on the market today.

Looks big and aggressive and plays big and aggressive. There might be nothing subtle about this but it gets the job done for you off the tee. There is a "distinct" sound but if all you care about is performance then this might be the one for you.
