How do you conquer Switzerland? Answer: With a Tank.

Armed with his Odyssey Tank putter Thomas Björn holed a 12 foot putt on the first playoff hole to win his 14th European Tour title and move back inside the world's top-50.

Both Björn and his playoff companion, Craig Lee, had bags full of the latest Callaway equipment. Whilst Lee made the headlines on Saturday with a course record 61, it was the Dane who took home the silverware with a final round 65 and a birdie on the first playoff hole.

Amazingly, Björn only dropped two shots over the 73 holes at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club in Switzerland. The win is his 14th on the European Tour and second at Crans-sur-Sierre, having won there back in 2011 with the same 20-under score.

The 42-year old Callaway player admitted getting this win wasn't easy, "I had a good run through the summer but did not really get close enough. I had to grit my teeth for a while and I really wanted to get out and try to win a golf tournament again. It was nice to do that in a play-off. I’ve had a hard time dealing with pressure situations and there is no more pressure than that.”

Nearly half the field (48.7%) in Switzerland had an Odyssey putter in their bag, but it was Björn's that holed the winning putt. The Dane has been using Odyssey's Tank #7 putter recently and he certainly seemed to enjoy it down the stretch. He single-putted the first eight greens in the final round, carding 5 birdies en route to his Sunday 65.

It seemed fitting that it would be a testing 12ft putt that would win it for Björn in the playoff.
