How? Following a disastrous quadruple bogey on his first hole on Saturday, Kitayama rallied to post 9-under for his final 33 holes and finish one shot clear of four others in second place.
Following the victory, Kitayama said:
After that start, I wanted to get off that golf course and regroup for today. I was glad of the fresh start this morning. I birdied my first hole and then had a great comeback.
