Skechers has become the #2 footwear brand in the US by focusing on comfort, function and performance, a combination displayed in the new Go Golf Drive II golf shoe.
The successor to the popular Go Golf Drive, Skechers' latest men's offering is ideal for golfers wanting a summer shoe with both on-course performance and a fashionable off-course street wear look.
Using the same premium materials as the Go Golf Pro and Go Golf Elite models, the Drive II brings new contemporary colour schemes and styling to the range.
As we found out earlier in the year when we spoke to VP of Merchandising & Marketing Rick Higgins, Skechers' incorporates the input of its global ambassadors such as Matt Kuchar, Russell Knox and Colin Montgomerie into the shoe design, so the technology the Drive II shares with the Go Golf Pro and Go Golf Elite is truly tour-trusted.
This includes GOimpulse senors and a Resalyte comfort insole as well as Skechers' innovative Goga Mat Technology. This offers high-rebound cushioning for the foot resulting in maximum comfort as you walk. A 'Low Drop' in the midsole ensures the foot stays low to the ground and in a central position, providing excellent feel for performance and stability.
As you'd expect from a summer golf shoe ideal for off-course wear, the Drive II has a flexible, spike-less outsole formed with rubber cleats to give traction, but what is unusual in this type of shoe is that thanks to an H2GO shield it is 100% waterproof.
The shield protects a smooth leather upper that is complemented by a soft fabric shoe lining as well as a padded collar and tongue.
The Go Golf Drive II is available in three stylish colour schemes: black synthetic with white trim, navy synthetic with white trim and white synthetic with navy trim.
