Puma Golf has introduced its apparel and accessories collection for the Spring and Summer months, with streetwear inspired designs crafted for comfort and style, which can be worn both on and off the course.

Puma Spring Summer 2019 Collection

Puma has not been afraid to go bold with their styling and colourways in the past, in order to cement their place amongst the coolest in golf fashion, and this latest release appears no different. They’ve also combined the looks with some new technology, as the Alterknit pattern technique and Fusion Yarn Flex fabric combine to give you optimal performance whilst looking good whether you're playing or not.

Although Fusion Yarn is not new technology, having been seen in the Autumn Winter collection Puma released earlier in the year, it has been enhanced with new Flex properties including four-way stretch to allow for a greater range of motion, thanks to feedback from Tour star Rickie Fowler.

The Fusion Yarn Flex features in the Verdant and Faraday Polo Shirts for Men, and the Burst Into Bloom and Race Day Polo Shirts for Women.

For the first time Puma is utilising an Alterknit technique to allow for 3D patterns to be knitted into their clothing, in place of traditional graphic prints. It is utilised in the Prismatic Polo, the Radius Polo and the Palms Polo for Men, and in the Burst Into Bloom Polo for Women.

Explaining more about this is Kristin Hinze, Global Head of Apparel for Puma Golf:

Puma Golf is known for bold colour and graphics. Our goal this season was to evolve and elevate the line by adding some subtle prints that were still visually interesting and developing a new execution for the bolder graphics by using a tonal, 3D knit structure as opposed to a more traditional print. The result is a collection that is true to the DNA of Puma Golf, but more refined, designed to be performance-ready but easily transitions off the course.

The new Puma range also includes bottoms along with the polos and other layering pieces, including the Jackpot design available in both trousers and shorts which stresses three main elements required for success: fabric, fit and function.

Therefore, they are a modern-look pant with moisture-wicking fabric and a stretch-mesh waistband designed to be fitted and comfortable.

The Jackpot 5 Pocket Pant is available in nine colours, including pale pink, black, Ashley blue, and of course, orange for Rickie. The Jackpot Shorts have 14 colour options including fuchsia purple and blue azur.

Continuing Puma’s commitment to Ladies golf and clothing, the new collection takes inspiration from ‘athleisure’ styling by using fabrics and silhouettes that can be popular both on and off the course.

New colours and styles have been added to the bottoms which contain Pwrshape technology, providing a smooth slimming effect which also delivers support and comfort.

The Pwrshape On Repeat Skirt has a tennis-inspired design and is available in four different colourways, including Black and Peacoat.
