The latest Nike Lunar Control shoe features Nike's proprietary Lunarlon cushioning system designed to give golfers comfort and stability where they need it most.

Carrying on from the original version launched in 2011, which featured Lunarlon Foam, the new Lunar Control features full-length Lunarlon cushioning. The lightweight, springy Lunarlon Foam in the midsole is durable, responsive and offers a unique combination of support and comfort.

Another alteration Nike have made, is the increased Flywire technology. More than aesthetics, the lightweight Flywire wraps from the midfoot to the heel providing additional support in the mid section of the shoe.

During your golfer swing, it is crucial you have a stable base from which to swing. Nike know this, and thus created the Nike Power Platform and Power Transfer Zone technology, which work together to offer better balance, smoother weight transfer and increased power during your swing.

The construction of the saddle panel combined with a carved out TPU (or thermoplastic polyurethane), works your foot to allow natural range of motion whilst also improving flexibility. This process means the 2013 Lunar Control is lighter, by 19.8 grams per shoe, than the original.

The Nike Lunar Control comes with a 1-year waterproof warranty and is available in the four colours seen here.
