In conjunction with the launch of the King F6 and King F6+ drivers, Cobra has extended the metal family with the King F6 fairways and hybrids, both of which optimise centre of gravity (CG) position through the use of sole weighting for flight and distance.

Cobra King F6 Fairways

The King F6 fairway sees the Flip Zone concept, first introduced in the Cobra Fly-Z drivers and continued in the King F6 driver, brought to the fairway.

The F6 fairways include adjustable front or back CG technology where a 20g weight can be placed in either of the positions on the sole to influence ball flight.

The front CG weight position will promote a more penetrating ball flight that will give more roll and more distance while placing the weight at the rear gives a towering ball flight with more carry and maximum forgiveness.

The King F6 fairways have been given a midsize head to make them appeal to more players and the body of the club is cast from 17-4 Stainless Steel.

The face of the club, forged from 476 High-Strength Carpenter Stainless Steel, incorporates Cobra's Speed Channel, which minimises the thickness fo the face and increases ball speeds across the face to deliver distance from all strike locations.

As with all the King F6 range the fairway boasts MyFly8 adjustable hosel technology that gives each club eight easily adjustable loft settings to manage trajectory. This pairs up with Cobra's Smartpad on the sole of the club that ensures that the club sits square at address regardless of hosel setting selected.

There are 3 fairway options with the 3-4 F giving lofts of 13 to 16 degrees, the 5-6 F covering 17 to 20 degrees and the 7-8 F offering 21 to 24 degrees. All three clubs also offer a draw bias configuration.

As with the King F6 driver the fairway comes in a choice of Glass Black with Vibrant Orange, Blue Aster, and White Pearl.

Cobra King F6 Hybrid

The Cobra King F6 hybrid has a thin steel crown cast from 17-4 Stainless Steel that allows weight to be moved down to maximise the low and back CG position that delivers both distance and maximum forgiveness.

This position is accentuated by the 13g back sole weight and Cobra has even incorporated a shorter hosel design that again helps to keep the CG lower in the clubhead.

Launch is also boosted by the Speed Channel face with a forged 455 High-Strength Carpenter Steel structure providing a thin constant thickness across the hitting area which increases ball speeds across the face for greater distance.

Cobra King F6 Hybrid

Although the MyFly8 hosel is shorter it still gives the 8 loft setting with 3 draw options in each hybrid and there are 3 models available. The 2-3 H gives lofts of 16 to 19 degrees, the 3-4 H covers 19 to 22 degrees and the 4-5 H can be set between 22 and 25 degrees.

Unlike the driver and the fairways the King F6 hybrid is only available in the Glass Black with Vibrant Orange colour scheme.
