Adidas Golf has added two new shoes to their line up for 2015. Hitting the shops are the Tour360 X Boa and the ClimaCool golf shoes that offer alternatives at differing ends of the design spectrum, allowing golfers to choose the type of shoe that best suits them, their game and the conditions.

Adidas Tour360 X Boa Golf Shoe

The Tour360 X Boa is a traditionally styled spiked golf shoe that focuses on the stability and traction it gives to golfers as they swing.

Adidas Tour360 X Boa

The shoe is based on a Tour performance last that has been specifically designed to be wider in the forefoot for improved fit, feel, and overall comfort.

The last is complemented by a TPU saddle and an external heel counter that brings the stability to the shoe through Adidas's 360 Wrap system, locking in and supporting the foot for enhanced stability.

Stability is also enhanced with this generation of the shoe incorporating the Boa lacing system. Located on the top and centre of the tongue for easy access, the Boa dial allows for micro adjustments to customise the fit of the shoe to your foot, and once locked in place will not loosen over time like laces.

The shoes are made from lightweight, synthetic uppers featuring Adidas's ClimaProof coating that gives a high level of protection from the elements as well as bringing comfort and performance.

The traction element of the shoe is built around the nine-spike Thintech TPU outsole. This technology provides a lower centre of gravity, bringing you closer to the ground and therefore improving stability, balance and power transfer.

The sole uses Swing Plane Traction and a new CenTraXion spike in the middle of the shoe to create grip and stability. The low profile 'Stealth' spikes give greater surface area contact, more cushioning, improved green friendliness and tour-proven traction.

The TourX 360 Boa is available in three colourways, Black, White/Black and White/Silver and has an RRP of £109.99.

Adidas Climacool Golf Shoe

The Climacool sits at the opposite end of the Spectrum to the Tour360X Boa as a lightweight, flexible, spikeless golf shoe, and is based on Adidas' iconic supernova running shoe last for supreme comfort.

A lightweight cloudfoam sockliner and a stretch gore collar give the Climacool a glove-like fit and provide an added comfort around the foot. This is aided by the mesh upper of the shoe that gives 360° ventilation to keep the foot cool, dry and comfortable during your round.

If this sounds like you'll be sacrificing the stability that you need during the swing, Adidas has addressed that issue by incorporating a moulded TPU saddle to keep the foot anchored securely.

The outsole is spikeless and includes flexible puremotion technology, allowing the foot to move naturally as you walk and thereby reduce fatigue through the round. Made from Adiwear rubber the lugs on the sole give long-lasting abrasion resistance and a high level of traction to the shoe for both grip and stability.

The Climacool shoe is available in three colourways, Blue/Yellow, White/Blue and Grey/Red, and have an RRP of £59.99.
